Bad weather interrupts golf
FORTY-FOUR players contested a stableford event at the Terang Golf Club last Saturday.
The A grade winner was David Stewart on 38, with Luke Tebble the runner-up on 36.
B grade was won by Hugh Kenna, 36 on countback from Janet O’Connor.
Down the line: Mitch Wyss 35, Barry Stonehouse 35, Frank O’Connor 34, Neale Grundy 34, Tyler Beasley 34 and Danny Kenna 34.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Toni Harrison, 6th Luke Tebble, 8th Phil Beasley and 11th Nick Marshall.
Friday’s twilight golf was won by Fred Beasley, 20 points on countback from Ethan Wyss.
Sunday’s 18-hole stableford was cancelled due to thunder and lightning.
This Friday night will see twilight from 2.30pm (composite course), stroke (November monthly medal and putting – round one of the Peter Kenna Trophy) on Saturday, and Sunday will be an 18-hole stableford from 10.30am.
