Kavenagh wins at Terang

TWENTY-six players competed in an all day competition last Thursday.

Max Kavenagh was the winner on the day with 36 points on countback from Peter Hrabar, Terry Coolahan and Caleb Kavanagh.

The runner-up was Peter Hrabar.

Balls down the line went to Terry Coolahan, Caleb Kavenagh, Chris Coolahan, Fred Beasley and Phil Beasley.

Nearest the pins: 3rd Ethan Wyss, 6th Fred Beasley and 11th Fred Beasley.

The winner of the nine hole event was Lynette Coxon on 19 points, followed by Janet Saunders 17 on countback from Wendy O’Connor.

Next week will be the start of the women’s championships and monthly medal, as well as the 18 and nine holestablefords.
