Magpies wings clipped
CAMPERDOWN Magpies Bowling Club division one Saturday pennant team had a tough night when they travelled to Colac Central to take on Apollo Bay under lights last Friday.
Unfortunately the Magpies came away with an all rinks loss by 68 shots, 67 to 135.
A win would have seen the Magpies climb to second on the ladder, however, with Colac having an all rinks win over Colac City, this enabled the Magpies to stay in third spot just one point behind Colac City.
Tomorrow the Magpies travel again to take on Colac Central who are still winless this season so a win can be expected and with Colac City playing top of the ladder Winchelsea a win could see the Magpies move into second spot.
Great to see Tom Spokes lining up for his first Division One game for the Magpies.

Tomorrow Magpies 3 are at home to Colac City up at the Golf Green and they should be able to continue their good form with a win which would see them move into fifth spot on the ladder.
