Red Tee Day
THIRTY players contested a red tee (stableford) day at the Cobden Golf Club last month.
The event, held on December 20, attracted 30 players.
T. Gardner won A grade on 39 points, followed by D. Beard on 35.
B grade was won by J. Stevens on 36, with B. Bourke the runner-up on 34 from J. Rix 34 on countback.
Nearest the pin: 4th J. Green, 7th D. Absalom, 10th S. Mahony, closest second on the 2nd S. Barro and closest 2nd on the 14th was D. Beard.
Balls down the line went to J. Rix, D. Stewart, S. Barro and A. Giles.
Twenty-eight players competed for the privilege pot (stableford) at the course on Saturday, January 10.
A grade was won by D. Absalom on 38 points, followed by W. Gibson 37 on countback from D. Bath 37.
B grade was won by G. Davis on 40, with G. Mason the runner-up on 37.
Nearest the pins: 4th L. Bishop, 7th D. Abasalom, 10th K. Plozza, second on the 2nd J. Mason and closest second on the 14th K. Plozza.
The privilege pot went to G. Davis on 40 points.
