Skate comp nears
IF you can do a mean kickflip or would like to experience a competition, head along to the Cobden Skate Park on this Saturday.

All ages and abilities are welcome to compete in skate, scooter and/or BMX events.
The Skate Park Leagues (SPL) competitions are community-based grass-roots events focused on embracing skate park culture and bringing the community together.
Registration can be done on https://skateparkleagues.com/enrol/
Entry can also be done on the day and is free.
Helmets must be worn be all competitors.
Heat times are:
• Scooter - 11am;
• BMX – 12.30pm; and
• Skate – 1.30pm.
The event will be hosted by YMCA Victoria in partnership with Corangamite Shire Council, Skate Park Leagues, Skate Australia, Aus Cycling and the Victorian Skateboard Association.
