Stolen truck has been recovered by police
POLICE have located a truck stolen from Lismore earlier this month, but investigations are ongoing to find the offenders.
As Western District Newspapers, reported earlier this month the truck, and a tipper trailer, were stolen from a property along the Hamilton Highway.
Warrnambool Police Detective Sergeant Andrew Raven said the truck was recovered last Thursday in Campbellfield, Melbourne.
“It’s pleasing to have it back,” he said.
“It does have some damage to it, but the owner will work through that.
“He’s just grateful to have it back again and that he can use it for his business, harvesting and sowing.
“The investigation is still ongoing in relation to the alleged offenders.”
