Three-person ambrose
GOLFERS enjoyed a three-person ambrose at the Mortlake club on Saturday, December 20.
The event was won by Hamish Weatherly (6), Glen Birnie (11) and Angelo van den Heuvel (15) on 53 2/3.
The runners-up were Tyler Schafer (8), Charles Kenny (25) and Darren Anders (17) on 56 2/3.
Nearest the pins: 3/12 Tyler Schafer, 6/15 Rob Field and 9/18 Paul Wareham.
Balls down the line went to Rob Field, Dougal Renken, Kurt Robertson, Richard van Diemen, Steve Hubbard and Aaron Davies.
The nine-hole twilight on December 19 was won by Richard van Diemen 10-40-30.
The runner-up was Andrew Hunger 11-45-34.

On Saturday, January 3 golfers enjoyed a stroke monthly medal and Privilege Cup.
The winner was Steve Hubbard on 20-83-63, with Slade Palmer the runner-up on 1-69-68.
